Earlier tonight, I was reminiscing about how awesome the 2008 Final Four was. One thing that made it so great was that all 4 one seed's were in it, for the first time ever.
I realize that it's easy to say that, being a fan of KU - who was one of the four one seeds, as the average college basketball fan would probably like to see more upsets and would have liked to see an underdog sneak in there (aka Davidson). But, there's just something special about knowing KU won the only final four where you legitimately had the best four teams in the nation there, which no one can really argue.
What a great National Championship run that was...
